Those that take the Bible literally and logically have to come to grips with the fact that Jesus kept the seventh day Sabbath holy. Many Christians today deny observation of this fourth commandment of the decalogue by convocating on the first day of the week, or Sunday. Is there a Biblical basis for this divergence from not only the written commandment of God, but also the example set forth by the Son of God while here on this Earth? I say no, and the church (Catholic) that made the Sabbath day change in the years to follow Christ's ascension agree to it.
